Important Announcement from the Scholarships Directorate at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to Heads of Families with Disabilities Regarding the Identification Card Issued by the Higher Council for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities
The Scholarships Directorate at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, in cooperation and coordination with the Higher Council for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, and in implementation of the Law on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities No. (20) of 2017, announces the Ministry’s direction to recognize the humanitarian case represented by a head of family suffering from long-term impairment of neurological, physical, sensory, intellectual, or psychological functions—proven by an identification card issued by the Higher Council for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities—as a humanitarian case eligible to compete for benefiting from the scholarships and loans offered by the Ministry. Accordingly, the Scholarships Directorate draws the attention of heads of families wishing their student children to benefit from this humanitarian case referred to above to visit the website of the Higher Council for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities / electronic services, through the following link: https://hcd.gov.jo/, or to visit the liaison offices to the Higher Council located in one of the Kingdom’s three regions.
