In its commitment to safeguarding the interests of its students and ensuring the highest standards of transparency, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, through the Directorate of Scholarships, announced today, Thursday, December 26, 2024, the data and information related to students who submitted electronic applications to benefit from internal grants and loans for the academic year 2024-2025.
The announcement also includes the calculated points for each student based on the criteria for grants and loans offered and implemented by the Ministry for students enrolled in regular programs at public universities and colleges in Jordan.
This announcement is intended for students to review their points and data and does not constitute a nomination.
Students can access the Directorate of Scholarships' website to view their data, information, and calculated points using their national ID number and password (created when submitting the application).
They can also review the criteria and point calculation mechanisms for each fund.
If a student wishes to appeal the points calculated for any criterion, they must submit an electronic objection.
The submission of objections will begin today, Thursday, December 26, 2024, and will close at 12:00 midnight on Saturday, January 4, 2025.
Students must upload supporting documents for their objections within the electronic objection form.
The Ministry emphasizes that the objection process will be conducted electronically only.
Paper objections will not be accepted, nor will any electronic objections be considered unless supported by documents proving the validity of the claim.
During the same official period for submitting electronic objections, students may also apply for consideration under humanitarian cases, provided they upload the necessary supporting documents.
The humanitarian cases recognized under the new 2024 Student Support Fund System are limited to three:
- Relocation of the student or their family due to circumstances beyond their control (tribal displacement), supported by a document from the Ministry of Interior issued no more than six months before the application date.
- Death of both parents.
- Divorce of the student (if female) or death of her husband, provided a certified civil record from the Civil Status and Passports Department, issued within six months of the application date, is attached.
The Ministry also notes that medical and disability cases have been excluded from the recognized humanitarian cases under the new 2024 Student Support Fund System. Students are urged, when accessing the electronic objection form and specifying the type of objection or humanitarian case, to carefully review the name of the required document that will appear on the screen to avoid rejection of the submitted document. Students will not be allowed to submit objections or upload new documents after the results are announced.
