Minister of Education and Human Resources Development Azmi Mahafzah Issues Circular to Presidents of Official Universities to Postpone Payment of Tuition Fees for Students Nominated for Admission to the Regular Programme Until After the Announcement of the Lists of Misuse of Choice and Transfers

The Minister of Education and Human Resources Development, Prof. Dr. Azmi Mahafzah, issued a circular today, Monday, to the presidents of official Jordanian universities, granting students nominated for competitive admission under the Unified Admission lists for the 2026-2027 academic year a final opportunity to pay university tuition fees until the end of working hours next Monday, 5-10-2026. The Ministry’s Unified Admission Coordination Unit is expected to announce the lists of students nominated following misuse of choice and students transferring from one major to another and from one university to another before this date. This measure aims to facilitate matters for our students and avoid financial complications that may arise if a student pays university tuition fees and then transfers to another university.
