Important Announcement from the Unified Admission Coordination Unit at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for Students with Disabilities Regarding the Identification Card Issued by the Higher Council for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities

The Unified Admission Coordination Unit at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, in cooperation and coordination with the Higher Council for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, announces that, pursuant to the Law on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities No. (20) of 2017, any student with a disability who wishes to compete for the seats allocated to persons with disabilities under the General Admission Policies for Jordanian universities, university colleges, and community colleges, or who wishes to benefit from the exemption stipulated in the General Bridging Policy, or who wishes to obtain the tuition fee discount prescribed by law in either the Regular or Parallel Program, must submit an application to the Higher Council for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities to obtain the Identification Card.

Applications should be submitted through the Sanad application by selecting: Government Services → Higher Council for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities → Identification Card Unit. Applicants must then visit the Council at one of the liaison offices listed below after registering through the designated link in order to receive priority for the diagnostic assessment.

Please note that a student will not be recognized as a person with a disability unless they hold the Identification Card issued by the Higher Council for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
