The Unified Admission Coordination Unit at the Ministry of Higher Education announces the date and arrangements for holding the placement exam scheduled for Jordanian students who obtained equal averages in the foreign General Secondary Education Certificate for the academic year 2025-2026.

• Exam date: Tuesday, 9-9-2025

• Exam venue: The University of Jordan, Computer Halls Complex (Student.com) located in the School of Business.

• The placement exam covers the following scientific subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics.

Very important notes:

1. The exam will be held in three sessions: the first (10:00–12:00 a.m.), the second (1:00–3:00 p.m.), and the third (4:00–6:00 p.m.), with each session lasting two hours.
2. Entry to the University of Jordan campus will be through the North Gate only.
3. The exam is computerized, and access will be granted using the student’s national number.
4. Each student must bring a valid Civil Status ID card or passport.
5. Students are prohibited from bringing calculators or mobile phones into the exam hall.
6. Not being called to sit for the placement exam does not mean that the student is excluded from the admission competition and nomination process; it simply means there is no GPA tie with other students.
7. Students must arrive at the exam venue at least half an hour before the exam time, and they should not be accompanied by their parents, as parents will not be allowed to enter the university campus, nor are there suitable waiting areas for them.
